1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Highlife Games ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

Highlife Games is open to players aged 14 and over. Players under 18 should obtain parental consent before registering. Advertisers must be legitimate businesses with a valid Company Registration Number (CRN).

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering, including a valid email address, postcode, and age range. You are responsible for keeping your password secure. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Gameplay

Highlife Games is an interactive quiz game where players roll dice, land on squares, answer questions, and collect assets. Outcomes involve a mix of skill (answering questions) and chance (dice rolls). No purchase is necessary to play.

5. HECUs (Highlife Electronic Currency Units)

HECUs are the in-game currency of Highlife Games. They have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. HECUs are earned through gameplay and referrals and can be spent on in-game assets.

6. Referrals

Players can refer other players to earn HECUs and Geo Tokens. Advertisers can refer other advertisers to receive discounts on weekly fees. Referral rewards are subject to change. Abuse of the referral system may result in forfeiture of rewards and account suspension.

7. Advertisers

Advertisers must submit proof of business address for verification. Advertiser accounts must be approved by an administrator before adverts go live. Adverts must comply with UK advertising standards and must not contain offensive, misleading, or illegal content. We reserve the right to reject or remove any advert.

8. Postcode Claims

Advertisers claim postcode areas on a first-come, first-served basis. Each area allows up to 3 advert changes per month. Claims are subject to availability and payment of the weekly fee.

9. Prizes

Winners of knockout competitions receive real prizes as advertised. Prize details, availability, and distribution are at the discretion of Highlife Games. We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equivalent value.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) cheat or exploit bugs in the game, (b) create multiple accounts to manipulate referrals, (c) post offensive or inappropriate content, (d) attempt to access other users' accounts, or (e) use bots or automated tools.

11. Intellectual Property

All game content, including the board design, questions, assets, and branding, is the property of Highlife Games. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

Highlife Games is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any loss of in-game currency, assets, or data. Our liability shall not exceed any amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
